Product Description
Hi-Limit sensor for the HydroQuip CS6200, 6220, 6230, 6330, 7500, 9700 control systems manufactured after 2003. This sensor has a 2 pin, 2 wire connector, a 12" length and a 1/4" diameter bulb. The sensor slides into a small plate on your heater and touches the heater casing to sense any high limit or overheating conditions. When tripped this sensor will trigger your spa to stop heating thinking there is a water flow issue. On HydroQuip systems the error codes you may see when the sensor detects a hi-limit are HL or 3 blinking dots on your topside and a red LED light on the bottom right corner of your circuit board. When this sensor fails it can cause false High Limit and overheating codes, but be sure to rule out a dirty filter, low water level or other issue first.
